The tipper bin is a unique Australian product designed to complement a conventional tip tray conversion kit currently available to convert a tray top utility or flat top trailer into a tipper. The tipper bin is a do it your self installation, designed to fit into a conventional box trailer or style side utility where the existing box or body is unable to be converted into a tipper using conventional methods. The standard tipper bin is a self-contained unit that can be simply attached to the trailer or utility floor with four retaining bolts and its ready to power up and use. Power can be sourced via the host vehicle cigarette lighter socket or hard wired into the host vehicle trailer plug or any other 12 Volt 10 Amp power source. The tail gate is swung from the top and can be released with a simple catch at the base of the tail gate allowing the contents of the bin to be emptied through the gap as the bin is raised. The tail gate can also be raised through 270 degrees and placed on top of the bin or completely removed if required. The standard tipper bin is raised with a unique electro-hydraulic system and has a tipping capacity of up to 500kg evenly distributed with an up to 500 litre capacity bin.
